What can We the People do about Alaska's Stinky Election?

Given Alaska's history of election hanky-panky, the bizarre anomalies in polling and voting in 2008, reports from the field of ballots not being scanned on-site due to broken machines, Shannyn Moore asks if the 2008 has been stolen. Either way, gross irregularities warrant an investigation of Alaska's 2008 voting election process and results; see:

What can We the People do?

According to someone who has studied the matter extensively - Robert F. Kennedy Jr.:

Federal officials charged with safeguarding the vote have also failed to contest the election. "Congress hasn't investigated this at all," says Kucinich. "There has been no oversight over our nation's most basic right: the right to vote. How can we call ourselves a beacon of democracy abroad when the right to vote hasn't been secured in free and fair elections at home?" (See his "Was the 2004 Election Stolen?" published at Rollingstone.com Jun 01, 2006 at http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/10432334/was_the_2004_election_stolen.)

So, we can not count on Federal officials at the DOJ to help. We could contact the following and others to request an immediate intervention:

1. President-elect Barack Obama at www.change.gov.
2. The DNC and Chairman Howard Dean.
3. The media - be it letters to the editor, emails, etc.

However, perhaps the best way, however, to obtain justice would be for as many people as possible to contact folks at Alaska's Division of Elections (DOE http://www.elections.alaska.gov/offices.php#dir) to remind them of whistle blower laws, that we are watching, etc. and their Senators to demand an immediate investigation to determine if voter fraud occured in Alaska (and elsewhere), and, given their legal problems, if evidence of such that favors Stevens and Young exists and Alaska's DOE still says they 'won' the election, that the Senate not recognize them as the winner and instead recognize the person who 'really' won. If voter fraud has occurred, the Senate should not allow the seat to be stolen and should assure that the person the people really selected in the Nov 2008 election gets seated (and should be able to do this without having to wait for anyone in particular to be found guilty of the fraud as long as clear evidence of fraud exists). I ask because Frank L. Smith (as per "Political Corruption in America" by M. Grossman) was not allowed to take a seat in 1926 because the Senate adopted a resolution to that effect (so they did not apparently need to expel him) because of apparent campaign-related fraud and corruption.

Hence, perhaps prior to the next term, the Senate (and House) could adopt a resolution to the effect that if voting irregularities exist in a race, that neither candidate would be allowed a seat until matters were settled and that if voting fraud favored the party named as the 'winner', that person not be allowed to be sworn in and that the 'runner up' would be instead. I ask this because I think it would better carry out justice than holding a new election would, and because holding a special election would cost too much time and money and could all too easily result in a miscarriage of justice.
